About
What SteamGate is and how it works.
What is SteamGate?
SteamGate is a subscription service that gives you access to a large library of Steam games. You pay a subscription and get login credentials for shared Steam accounts that already own thousands of popular games. Play single-player titles, finish stories, try out new releases — without buying every game separately.
How is this different from buying a game on Steam?
Buying on Steam means the game is permanently tied to your account, with online play under your name, anti-cheat support, etc. SteamGate gives temporary access to a shared account: you play single-player modes, no Steam Cloud saves, no competitive online. In return, for the price of one AAA game you get hundreds.
Which platforms does it work on?
Anywhere Steam runs: Windows, macOS, Linux, Steam Deck. You receive credentials via the website or Telegram bot, log in to the Steam client and play. Steam Link and similar remote modes work — but mind the Remote Play note in our guide.
How many games are in the library?
Several thousand titles: AAA hits from Rockstar, Ubisoft, EA, Bethesda, Square Enix, indie favorites, and classics. Full list lives in the website Catalog and in the bot via Game list. The library is updated regularly.
Is this legal?
We provide information & consulting services: temporary access to third-party software for evaluation purposes. The business operates in Russia, taxes are paid as a self-employed individual under Federal Law 422-FZ, the public offer and privacy policy are published. Using the service without breaking the rules (see § 6.4 of the offer) stays within consumer-law boundaries.
Subscription & payment
Pricing, terms, payment methods, refunds, promo codes.
How much does the subscription cost?
Pricing depends on the term and is shown on the website Subscription page and inside the Telegram bot. Short terms cost about as much as a couple of coffees, longer terms have better per-month rates.
Which subscription terms are available?
1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 months. Longer terms come with a better per-month price.
Can I extend an existing subscription?
Yes. If your subscription is still active, a new payment stacks on top of the remaining time. Buy whenever it's convenient — no day is lost.
What happens after my subscription ends?
Account-issuance access stops, but your account and history are preserved. Buy a new subscription whenever you're ready and everything resumes.
Which payment methods are supported?
Russian bank cards and SBP via Alfa-Bank, plus crypto (USDT, TON) via CryptoBot. The checkout page lists all currently available options.
Do you accept cryptocurrency?
Yes — USDT and TON via CryptoBot. After choosing the term and currency, the system creates an invoice with a payment link; once funds arrive the subscription activates automatically (usually within a minute).
Can I get a refund?
Yes — before your first credentials request, in full minus actual processing fees. After you've requested credentials at least once the service is considered rendered and refunds are no longer available. See § 8 of the public offer for details.
How do I use a promo code?
In the Telegram bot: menu → Promo codes → Activate code → enter the code from a campaign or from our manager. The subscription extends automatically.
Accounts & games
Getting credentials, limits, additional auth.
How do I get credentials for a game?
On the website: catalog → pick a game → 'Get account'. In the bot: 'Accounts' → 'Find account' → enter the game number from the list. Either way, you receive a Steam login and password to enter into the Steam client.
How often can I request credentials?
Once per 60 minutes per game. If you request again sooner, you'll see a rate-limit message. This protects against accidental clicks and keeps the shared accounts available for everyone.
What is Steam Guard and why do I need codes?
Many shared accounts are protected by Steam Guard email codes — Steam asks for a code sent to the linked mailbox. We automatically extract that code from the mailbox and deliver it via the 'Get code' button. Wait 10–20 seconds after entering the login in Steam, then request the code.
What if the credentials don't work?
Hit 'Change account' (if available for that game) and the system will issue a different working account for the same title. If there's no such button, retry after a moment or contact support.
What does 'account rotation' mean?
For popular games we have several copies — that's the rotation. If the first issued account is currently in use by someone else, the bot can issue a backup. The 'Change account' button is shown specifically for these games.
Additional auth (Rockstar, Ubisoft, EA)?
Games from some publishers require a second login — Rockstar Social Club, Ubisoft Connect or EA App. The bot delivers a second login/password set for those. If the game asks for yet another code mid-session, hit 'Get additional code'.
Where do I check subscription status?
In the bot: menu → Subscription → 'When does it end'. On the website — in your dashboard's Subscription section.
Can I change a game's language?
Yes — same as in regular Steam: right-click the game → Properties → Language. Don't change account-wide regional settings — that violates our rules.
Safety
What's forbidden, risks, data security.
Will my Steam account get banned?
Your personal Steam account isn't at risk — you don't sign in to shared accounts under your name, you use separate credentials in a separate Steam session (or the same client as a different user). The key is to never link shared accounts to your email/phone.
What's NOT allowed on shared accounts?
Forbidden: changing the password, email, linking your phone, enabling Steam Guard Mobile, making purchases, activating keys, trading items, joining a Family, enabling cheats. Full list in § 6.4 of the offer. Breaking the rules → subscription canceled with no refund.
Is it safe to enter someone else's credentials on my PC?
Yes. The Steam client stores sessions locally and doesn't leak any of your data. A foreign login in Steam is just another session — it doesn't affect your own Steam account. Switch back to your account whenever you want.
What happens if I break the rules?
If you change a password, enable 2FA, or link the account to yourself — we see it, the account is locked on our side, your subscription is terminated with no refund (§ 9.4). If your actions cause us to lose the account, we may demand compensation.
Can I play games with anti-cheat?
Single-player modes — yes. Online modes with VAC/EAC/BattlEye — no: that can lead to a VAC ban that stays on the account forever. This counts as a § 6.4 rules violation.
What about regional restrictions?
Accounts are tied to different Steam regions. A specific game may be unavailable in your country for a given account. Use 'Change account' or pick another title from the catalog.
Saves & online
Cloud saves, multiplayer, achievements, Family Sharing.
Are my saves preserved?
Yes — locally on your PC. IMPORTANT: before launching a game on a shared account, DISABLE Steam Cloud (Steam → Settings → Cloud → off). Otherwise your saves get uploaded to the shared cloud and may be overwritten by other users.
Can I play online with friends?
No. Shared accounts must be used in Steam offline mode — otherwise you get kicked out the moment another user logs into the account. So online multiplayer and co-op with friends are not available. The service is meant for single-player games: campaigns, story playthroughs, trying games before buying. If you need online with friends, buy that game for yourself.
Are achievements preserved?
Achievements are saved on the SHARED account, not yours. You won't be able to show them off in your profile. If 'forever' achievements matter, buy the game personally.
Can I use Remote Play / Steam Link?
Disable Remote Play in Steam settings before playing on a shared account (Settings → Remote Play → off). Otherwise someone else issued the same account could potentially join your session. Steam Link to your own device — no problem, that's just streaming from your PC.
Can I use Family Sharing with my account?
No — this violates our rules (§ 6.4). Steam Family Sharing links your personal account to the shared one, which is immediately visible to the shared-account admin. Your subscription will be terminated.
Tech & support
Glitches, languages, contact.
The bot doesn't respond / is slow
Check: 1) your internet; 2) subscription is active; 3) you haven't hit the rate limit. Sometimes credential issuance takes 10–20 seconds — that's normal, the service is fetching fresh data. If nothing helps, contact support.
Steam Guard code doesn't arrive
Wait 15–20 seconds after entering the login in Steam, then hit 'Get code'. If the code still doesn't arrive — try 'Change account' or retry in a minute. As a last resort — 'Disable guard'.
How do I change the UI language?
On the website — language switcher in the header (RU / EN / KR). In the bot — /lang command or 'Language' menu item. Russian, English, Korean supported.
Where can I see my delivery history?
In the dashboard → Deliveries section. All credential requests are listed with dates and games.
How do I contact support?
Telegram manager: t.me/cucumber_help_bot. Fastest channel, especially 10:00 to 22:00 MSK. You can also email support@steamgate.online — Telegram is faster.
